Tips on Posting a Proper Press Releases

There are many online resources already doing, this, so we are not going into details on how you go about doing a press/media release.

We strongly recommend that you prepare your submission OFFLINE and go through it many times, before logging in to BusinessAsia Network to post. This will give you ample time to think and phrase your press release carefully before sending it out.

Below are some of the tips, which you should adopt, or your release may be rejected:

  • Descriptive Title - Think carefully about the title/subject of your submission. This may be the reason why people are reading it (or not reading it)!

  • Number of Words - Your contents should not exceed 350 - 400 words.

  • Precise - Be precise and to the point. Make known only what's important. This is an online release, your audience are even more impatient than those reading the newspapers - BEAR THAT IN MIND!

  • Include contacts - We could have done this the automated way, but thought it will spoil all our users. Remember you would need to add in your contacts OR your submission will be rejected.

You should at least include (at the end of the release) your company name, name of the contact person/s to those who wish to have more information, contact nos. (tel & fax) of the contact person/s and email address of the contact person/s.

Remember to include the cotacts in the content area.
