BusinessAsia.Net or BusinessAsia Network is the brainchild of Online Technology Pte Ltd, a company formed in 1993 and incorporated in Singapore in the year 2000.

The original intention for the domain name (back in 1998) was to provide a simple search engine for all to access. However, as time goes by, no actions were taken to take businessasia.net live, due to our workload on developing our other portal sites (click here to learn more of our other portal sites) and not to mention, developing our client's corporate, e-commerce and portal sites. Gradually, more and more 'search engines' appeared over the Internet, and our interests in getting the project off slowed.

The idea of launching BusinessAsia.net re-surfaced again after one of our clients complained about the search engines today, according to him, it is too congested and difficult to find. One of the major search engines he claimed, has so many levels, it made navigation most tiring. If you try searching for "hotels", you will be bombarded with probably hundreds of thousands of links, but about 70% or more are irrelevant links. That is why we 'rekindle' our love for this project.

Of course, a simple search engine would not be enough today, that is why we came out with what you are seeing today. Our main theme is "No fanciful stuffs, just workable stuffs that is simple to access and use".

The ideas were conceptualized by Eddie C.k. Teo (Mr.)[CEO/Managing Consultant, Online Technology Pte Ltd] and Ivy Tan (Ms.)[Director, Online Technology Pte Ltd].

The software behind this site is developed by Eddie Teo with assistance from Ong Kian Soon (Mr.)[Technical Director, Online Technology Pte Ltd].
